Dr. Curtis R. Carlson

Dr. Curtis R. Carlson is president and CEO of SRI International. He is co-chair of the Singaporean science advisory board and a member of President Obama’s task force on R&D. He has helped form over ten new companies and he helped lead the Emmy Award winning team that created the U.S. standard for HDTV. He has co-authored the book, Innovation: The Five Disciplines for Creating What Customers Want. Carlson received his B.S. in physics from WPI and his Ph.D. degree from Rutgers University.
