Elisabeth Paté-Cornell

Elisabeth Paté-Cornell is professor and chair of the department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford.  Her specialty is engineering risk analysis with application to complex systems (space, medical) including counter-terrorism problems.  She is a member of the NAE and of several boards (Aerospace, Draper, InQtel, etc.).  She was a member of the PFIAB until December 2008.  She holds an Engineer degree (Applied Math/CS), an MS in Operations Research, and a PhD in Engineering-Economic Systems, both from Stanford.
