Henry S. Rowen

Henry S. Rowen is Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and co-director of the Stanford Program on Regions of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies.  From 1989 to 1991, Rowen was the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs.  He was Chairman of the National Intelligence Council from 1981 to 1983, and was President of the RAND Corporation from 1968 to 1972.  From 2004-2005 he was a member of the Presidential Commission on the Intelligence Capabilities of the United States Regarding Weapons of Mass Destruction.
