Tom Byers

Tom Byers is a professor at Stanford University, where his focus is tech entrepreneurship education. He is founder and co-director of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP), which serves as the entrepreneurship center for the engineering school. Tom is co-author of the textbook, Technology Ventures: From Idea to Enterprise. He was given the Gordon Prize from the National Academy of Engineering and received Stanford’s highest honor for excellence in teaching (Gores Award).
